AccuTrak has developed a new version of the unit (AT3000) that also provides for the capture of data from any of numerous external devices and transmits this data directly to the corresponding systems requiring this data. It is anticipated, for example, that in ambulances all other devices that are required to transmit medical and related data may be connected to the AccuTrak system for the purpose of capturing the data and transmiting it through a centralized channel/port, thereby, not having to deal with multiple transmission issues and not incurring any additional communications charges.
AccuTrak is currently in the process of collecting additional specific requirements and specifications.
